About Me

I’m a pilot, Licensed DAR-F, and Certified A&P with over 45 years of experience in aviation. If it flies, I’m into it. I’ve built a few planes myself, assisted with many more, ferried some, fixed some, and have even cracked a few bottles of champagne after a successful first flight. Personally, I know how hard it is to build a plane, get it ready for flight, and keep it flying for many years to come… so I started Aldrich Aviation Services to help you out.

If you end up working with me, I’ll keep it simple. If you need help, just call me. If you need emotional support, call me. If you need spousal mediation, maybe call someone else, but I’ll be your expert witness. When you think you’re at a stage where you’re ready for me to come see the aircraft, just let me know and we’ll set you up an appointment. I can help you get your paperwork in order and ready to submit to the FAA. You’ll also end up with a comprehensive run-down of your status, maybe a pat on the back, and some specific (possibly vague) assurance that you’re headed in the right direction.

Building and flying airplanes have been some of the best moments of my life. You probably know that already or you’re on your way to realizing it. Either way, I’m here to help.
